- Bone Reaper is tied with Misery's End for being the second scythe added to the game, the first was Cataclysm, the fourth being Permafrost, fifth is a tie between Dark Harvest and Hallowing Eye, and Meteor Depths is seventh.
- Like the other scythes, it is functionally identical to a greatsword.
- This weapon is included in the models of both Shady Villagers and Grim the Overseer.
- Bone Reaper is the first Uncommon scythe.
- While equipping this scythe, users have reported glitching through the maps of any floor.
- With the blade being black in color and its edge gray, it shares similar features with Mercurius, Almace, and Fleshrender. All Uncommon weapons from the same floor.
