Description
A large, animated version of the Pearl Keepers. Its pearl is a crimson color rather than the usual orange. It also has large dark red claws which it swipes to attack the player.

Overview

The Pearl Guardian is one of two mini-bosses found in Redveil Grove. It has 5,000 HP and spawns every 45 seconds.

When defeated, the player will obtain 180 Experience and 50 - 100 Vel. It has a 1.5% chance to drop Skeletal Skewer and a 3% chance to drop Garnette or a 6% chance to drop Wood Mask.

• The Pearl Guardian, at launch, dropped no Vel, which has been fixed.
• The Pearl Guardian is one of the slowest-moving mobs in the game.
  • Its speed is quite similar to an Ent's, however, since Floor 11's release, the ??????? is the slowest in the game.
• During Early Access, the Pearl Guardian had a respawn of 15m.
• Despite being a miniboss, the Pearl Guardian has 3,000 more health than Borik the Beekeeper, the main boss of Floor 2.
• This is the only miniboss to have multiple spawn locations.
• The Redguard Shield and Wood Mask drop was moved from Borik the BeeKeeper to this mob at some point.
  • The Redguard Shield along with Wood Mask was moved once again to the Redthorn Tortoise.
    • Wood Mask was moved back to Pearl Guardian during an update.
• This miniboss received a damage cap limited to 150 damage per hit, as of Version 177.
  • As of Version 179, this was changed to be limited to 350 damage per hit.
